"A lady was video taping her son riding a skate board when her attention switched to an old woman trying to cross the road. You might need to watch it twice to get the full effect on the driver.
You can hear the photographer giggling as she records the event.
This is hysterical."
Is it my age or what but I can so relate to Granny!
I know, I know... I have been guilty of feelings of impatience, too, when it comes to how seemingly slow this world seems to work .. like the driver in the car.. we always seem to have someplace we need to be in a hurry! But...leave it to the elderly with their lifetime of experiences, to remind us that life will go on whether we get there on time or not. Old people are great for calling attention to the fact that we should respect our elders for all they have contributed to our life's and that we still have so much to learn about the world around us. That whatever it is of the most importance to you at any given moment is most likely not life threatening or even life altering. You know..remind us to stop and smell the roses! The world needs to slow down a bit. And allow us all to cross the road of life..more slowly and safely!
